THE CHALLENGE
The primary challenge was to deliver a fully compliant clinical facility within a heritage building, balancing strict regulatory requirements with the need to preserve and showcase distinctive architectural features. The project also required careful planning to integrate modern clinical functions into an open, historically significant space without compromising the high-end aesthetic or operational efficiency.
Our Approach
The project team was involved from the earliest stages, prior to lease completion, working closely with the client and main contractor to provide end-to-end strategic and technical advice. This included business planning, feasibility studies, clinical and non-clinical layout development, cost planning, procurement strategy, and coordination of specialist medical and aesthetic equipment, including guidance on equipment financing solutions.
A collaborative design-led approach ensured clinical compliance while achieving a refined, spa-like interior. The original bank vault was transformed into a distinctive treatment and consultation space, while the open banking hall allowed for flexible planning, generous natural light, and a heightened sense of luxury.
Close coordination between all stakeholders enabled effective control of programme and costs while maintaining exceptional quality throughout delivery.

The completed clinic provides a unique, high-specification aesthetic healthcare environment that successfully blends heritage architecture with modern clinical functionality.
